The Vagenesis team developed a replacement for dilators as the therapy for post-radiation vaginal stenosis to improve quality of life and reduce pain.

The Brain Drain team developed a peritoneal shunt to control drainage of cerebrospinal fluid in pediatric patients with hydrocephalus.

Atristay

The Atristay team developed an implantable cardiac device to help the adhesion of a commecial atrial fibrillation diagnostic device to the atrial wall.

2020-2021

Minivent

The Minivent team developed a safe, affordable, and accessible mechanical ventilator for pediatric patients in low-cost settings. It was developed during the COVID-19 pandemic.

LUCIA

The LUCIA team developed a low-cost clinical training tool to improve cervical cancer screening methods and increase prevention.

2019-2020

Laparodome

The Laparodome team developed a low-cost surgical training tool to teach the basic laparascopic techniques to learning physicians.

PediRad

The PediRad team developed a tool to allow pediatric patients to safely undergo radiotherapy, preventing movement without anesthesia.

PatchVax

The PatchVax team developed a pulsatile controlled-release microneedle vaccine patch that can be self-administrered and does not require cold storage.
