Hello! I know there is something special in the GMI program at Rice, and I’m excited to add my Midwestern ties to such a close-knit community. Born and raised in Nebraska, I was a classical piano kid who loved Barbies, K’nex and Hotweels. In high school I developed an affinity for math and science, which led me to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln- GBR! I graduated May 2017 with a Bachelors degree in Biological Systems Engineering. I find the design process of medical devices to be exciting hard work and deeply rewarding, and I look forward to investing myself in this program. Ultimately, my career goal is to help bridge the gap between doctors, engineers, and industries as we work together to reduce suffering in this world.
