Hey all, it is hard to believe but 10 amazing weeks have come and gone which marks an end to this one of a kind experience in CR and at Resonetics. I had the opportunity to work in the manufacturing space while at Resonetics which opened my eyes to a whole new realm of product development and allowed me to gain precious experience in another sector of the med device industry. I want to give a shoutout to my boss Jossef Rocha who made this entire experience possible with his guidance, patience, and willingness to take me under his wing and learn the processes they support at the site in Costa Rica. I got to work on a wide variety of projects from countless fixture designs, process improvements, and even a new product integration (NPI) which was a completely different world from design but presented a new set of challenges that I was grateful to learn from. A big shoutout to the entire engineering team as well who were always open and willing to answer questions or offer assistance at a moments notice. They are very connected group and it was amazing to see their companionship both in and out of work. As a send off, several of the guys and I went out to the go karts place again and am happy to say the improvements were drastic this time around. It was an honor and huge privilege to call this place my home for the past 10 weeks and I am so grateful for the long list of people who made the experience what it was and to all the tico friends for showing us around their country and culture. Thank you to all who read these posts and followed along my journey through Costa Rica. Pura Vida!
