This is the 6th week in Brazil and despite material ordering complication we have finally confirmed the shipment we needed to order for our main project. Other than dealing with ordering complications we have completed another project that focuses on improving mammogram number in underrepresented communities in Brazil and we started to work on our final presentation that we will give to the hospital on August 1st. Outside of the hospital I have spent a lot of time at deepening connections with the people I have met at the hospital. This week alone I have met many new friends, seen new places in Barretos, and eaten at new places. I even got to see some street art and toucans (which I did not know they had here in Barretos).
