Hi! My name is Aiman and I just graduated with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from UT Dallas. I’m very interested in biomedical innovation and medical devices. So, I am very excited to be in Costa Rica this summer working alongside Dr. Sixto Bogantes to identify clinical needs and pain points. Here’s a photo of me:

Look, it’s me!
Here are some key points about me:
- I am an American-born Indian who grew up in Milwaukee, WI but have been living in Murphy, TX for almost 10 years.
- I have a twin which can be a surprise sometimes. But now y’all know.
- I enjoy VR gaming and hanging out with family, friends, and most importantly my cats (when they grace me with their attention).
In my undergraduate, I learned many technical skills such as computer-aided design (CAD), circuits, programming, and finite element analysis. While I have worked with these skills, I hope to further refine my technical skills. Moreover, I aim to learn more about clinical needs finding and hone-in on identifying problems which I feel is the most essential part of the bio design process.
When I look back on this experience, I hope my future self feels that this was a pivotal experience shaping my future as a biomedical innovator. I hope I make great memories, friends and have amazing experiences in Costa Rica!
