Hello everyone, my name is JJ Tellez and I am a current student in the Rice Global Medical Innovation Masters Program. I recently graduated from Rice University this past month with a degree in bioengineering and a minor in global health technologies. I am from Dallas, however my family is from El Salvador and Mexico, so I am a native Spanish speaker and am excited to learn about the culture and lifestyle while working in Costa Rica. I enjoy visiting my family in El Salvador and Mexico, and here are a few pictures of myself as well as cool pictures I have taken while I’m in El Salvador!

Microvention

I am looking forward to apply my current knowledge and skills, as well as gain new ones while working at Microvention, a neuroendovascular medical device company. I am very passionate in the medical field, and am very excited to be working in Costa Rica with Microvention. I will keep you guys updated through my summer experience so stay tuned in!!
