Tasha

I graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in June 2016 with a B.S. in Biochemistry. Throughout my undergraduate career, I interned at a local hospital, took part in medical clinics in Mexico, and conducted research on spinal cord injury regeneration. All these experiences emanated from my passion for medicine and opened my eyes to the advancements of translatable clinical approaches within the field of Biomedical Engineering. I am looking forward to joining Rice’s Global Medical Innovation program, where I hope to delve deeper into the design and global outlook of medical devices.
