I graduated from Rice in May 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology. Through research with cancer diagnostic medical devices and community work with patients, I developed an interest in developing tomorrow’s medical devices. The global and engineering components of the Global Medical Innovation program attracted me. I hope to learn from the experiences of this program and go forward in developing medical solutions for today’s changing world.
